A simple process is put into motion once a product has gone through the production line and has been checked through quality control. That process is called packaging.
Packaging is a simple process used to protect the product from damages due to mishandling during delivery, which causes those products to be placed in those bargain bins and sometimes has a hard time being sold to choosy consumers. It can be a simple packaging wherein many would use plastic wraps or bubble wraps and place the item in a box, but this type of packaging is not always effective, since not all products can withstand changes in the weather. There are products that could speed up their expiration date, such as medicines, and those that can either contract or expand, like plastic action figures, during their delivery in different locations and even different countries. This is where blister packaging comes in, in which the problems are solved in such a simple manner that makes these situations look as if it was just a trivial problem.
Blister packaging is a method in which plastic and aluminum are used to protect the product from harsh climate changes. The product is sealed within the safety of the materials and would also be protected from scratches and simple damages that can be acquired during mishandling in deliveries. Medicines also undergo such packaging process to prevent them from speeding up the expiration date and keeping the quality of the medicine at its best.
Blister packaging, however, is not and cannot be done simply at home. The plastic used to cover the product is molded. A special adhesive is used to make it stick to the aluminum or cardboard (like containers of toy action figures). It may be done on your own, but the process is quite complex than what others would say. So blister packaging is done by a machine that manufacturers would invest on in order to make the process faster and keep the production line of any product moving. The packing of products in large boxes for delivery is then made simple, since the shape of blister packages are made in such a way that they can be stacked together, and even side by side, without any fear of damaging the products.
